Currently, a firearms safety instructor is considered a qualified firearms safety instructor by a sheriff issuing a concealed carry permit if the instructor meets certain criteria. This bill provides that a firearms safety instructor may be considered qualified if he or she is certified by the United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA).
